“He told them this parable: “No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. 现在，我们把这句话说成”旧酒新瓶”，意思是换汤不换药，把本已有的事情重新包装成新的东西。
你也许听说过“旧酒新瓶”这习语。事实上，这句话与原初的经文有点出入，圣经中耶稣是说“旧瓶新酒”。 当新酒倒进旧瓶中，旧瓶会由于太破旧不能盛装继续发酵的新酒而破烂。耶稣想告诉门徒，归信基督后会让他们的生命得著改变。信主后，老我已不足以承载新的生命了。
